Kippy Joseph

Director, & Cofounder, Every Woman Fund

Kippy Joseph leads Every Woman’s work to galvanize the $4 billion – $1 for every woman on earth – necessary to end violence against women and girls.

Kippy led an innovation portfolio at The Rockefeller Foundation from 2010-2017, comprised of grant-making and internal capability-building. She managed the Foundation’s efforts to pilot Social Impact Bonds and initiated its Global Fellowship Program. Since 2017, Ms. Joseph has led a strategic effort to build the capacity of innovation units, especially government agencies in low and middle income countries, through IDIA, an alliance of twelve leading global development agencies.

Prior to those roles, Kippy worked at the United Kingdom’s Young Foundation, where she capitalized an education innovation fund and pioneered a new network of small schools across the UK. Having started her career in the US, she has also directed several New York City youth programs in partnership with under-served local communities and public schools. Ms. Joseph is a trained facilitator of large and small groups, including women’s peer counseling, and a perpetual student of group dynamics.

Kippy holds Masters Degrees in Social and Organizational Psychology from Columbia University and in Systemic Management and Consultation from the University of London. She earned her BA in Public Policy and Education at Brown University. She lives with her family in Brooklyn, NY.
