Rasha Qamheyeh is a business leader who translates the vision of technology startups into impactful businesses. With a background in both physics and finance, and a passion to build economically profitable yet socially impactful businesses, Rasha founded Event Horizon, a boutique incubator/accelerator that helps provide For-Profit Impact Startups with a network of services in business development, intellectual property, investment strategy and access to capital. An Angle Investor, Rasha invests in early stage startups in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, IoT, Climate Change, Alternative Energy and Power Generation. Prior to Event Horizon, Rasha had a career that spanned academia and finance. Rasha is the Co-Chair of Vital Voices Northwest Council, the Seattle chapter of Vital Voices Global Partnership, a non-profit that invests in women to change the world.
