Yael Marciano

Yael Marciano is the founder of Strathos Consulting, a firm specialized in providing knowledge and expertise for strategic communications, with special focus on Latina America. Her latest job comprised a worldwide human rights advocacy campaign. A lawyer from the Universidad Catolica Andres Bello (UCAB) in Caracas, Venezuela, she holds a Masters degree in International Law (LL.M) from American University (DC) and a Masters in Management for International Organizations from New York University (NY). She received in 2013 her Mason Fellow/Master in Public Administration from the Kennedy School of Government and is a 2012 Harvard University Weatherhead Fellow. Previously Yael worked for the Inter-American Development Bank in the Social Capital, Ethics and Development Initiative and for over seven years she served as a syndicated media producer and analyst focused on international and political analysis for several media outlets in Venezuela and the Huffington Post in the United States. Along with serving on the board of Every Woman Treaty, she is a board member of the DC Youth Orchestra Program, and the Children’s National Hospital Health Board. She is also an advisory committee member at the Georgetown Latin America Leadership Program and a councilor of the Harvard Kennedy School DC Alumni Council.
