Yael Marciano

Lawyer and Human Rights Activist, USA

Yael Marciano is the founder of Strathos Consulting, a firm specialized in providing knowledge and expertise for strategic communications, with special focus on Latina America. Her latest job comprised a worldwide human rights advocacy campaign. A lawyer from the Universidad Catolica Andres Bello (UCAB) in Caracas, Venezuela, she holds a Masters degree in International Law (LL.M) from American University (DC) and a Masters in Management for International Organizations from New York University (NY). She received in 2013 her Mason Fellow/Master in Public Administration from the Kennedy School of Government and is a 2012 Harvard University Weatherhead Fellow. In the past, Ms. Marciano worked for the Inter-American Development Bank in the Social Capital, Ethics and Development Initiative and for over seven years she worked as a syndicated media producer and analyst focused on international and political analysis for several media outlets in Venezuela and the Huffington Post in the United States. Ms. Marciano serves on the board of the the DC Youth Orchestra Program, Children’s National Hospital Health Board, she is an advisory committee member at the Georgetown Latin America Leadership Program and a councilor of the Harvard Kennedy School DC Alumni Council.
