Akefa is the organizational expert behind all operations at Every Woman. She has a background in program management in various areas, including telecom, software engineering and healthcare. Her expertise is in project management and setting up systems and processes.

Throughout her life she witnessed the oppression women face in her homeland and how the legal system has failed them every step of the way with archaic laws and practices. This led her to leave her career in the technology industry and pursue her passion to play an active role in the women’s rights movement. Today she fights everyday to make the world safer for women and girls everywhere.
