Elizabeth Blackney is a Fixer, Crisis Communicator, and Strategic Media Advisor focusing on human rights, geopolitics, and philanthropy. She develops reputation management strategies for high profile thought leaders, corporate clients, and advocacy organizations. An expert in blending media, accountability, and good governance with targeted advocacy and fundraising, she provides discreet counsel.

A survivor of sexual violence, an advocate, mother, and writer, she previously served as the Senior Media Adviser to Dr. Denis Mukwege, 2018 Nobel Peace Prize Co-Laureate, including at the 2019 World Economic Forum gathering in Davos, Switzerland. She also served as the Media Director to his Panzi Foundation office in Washington, DC. Her principal clients have appeared on the Time100 and Fortune 50 Greatest Leaders lists, in features at every major US daily, on Netflix, and on major television broadcasts on five continents.

Ms. Blackney has been a guest speaker at the World Bank, Women Deliver (2019), BlogHer (2015), Dartmouth College, George Washington University, USC Sol Price School of Public Policy, Virginia Commonwealth University, World Vision, among others. She volunteers her time to support frontline advocates and leaders working to end conflict-related sexual violence and other human rights violations.
