Yesterday, on the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, we gathered at the French Senate for an inspiring colloquium on ending violence against women and girls worldwide organized by G100: Mission Million Government and Ministerial Advocacy along with Every Woman Treaty. We had the great support of Senator Mrs. Olivia Richard.
The event brought together ambassadors, senators, formers ministers, policymakers, activists and G100 ladies from around the globe, united in their commitment to addressing this critical issue. A key highlight of our discussions was advocating for a new optional protocol to CEDAW—a crucial step toward unifying and strengthening international efforts to combat gender-based violence.
From exchanging best practices to exploring innovative solutions, the conversations reaffirmed the power of collective action to create a safer, more equitable world.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Mrs. Olivia Richard and all the participants, speakers, and partners who contributed to the success of this important gathering.
Let’s continue working together to turn these discussions into tangible change!
